FOUNDATION
OF AMERIFREIGHT
Almost two decades ago, the Valnev family immigrated to the United States from Bulgaria. After settling down in the Chicago area, they noticed an opportunity, in the freight logistics industry.
Seizing that opportunity, the Valnev family founded AmeriFreight Systems, LLC in 2006, naming the company after the country that afforded them the chance to start the company in the first place.

Seizing that opportunity, the Valnev family founded AmeriFreight Systems, LLC in 2006, naming the company after the country that afforded them the chance to start the company in the first place.
15 YEARS
Moving forward
Starting with 15 tractors and trailers in 2006, the fleet quickly doubled to 30 the next year, and tripled to 90 the following.
By the end of 2009, AmeriFreight had amassed a total of 160 leased and operator-owned vehicles.
At present day, after over 15 year of providing high-value services at competitive rates, AmeriFreights nationwide fleet has grown to over 500, and has shown no signs of slowing down.

Even as the industry declines, we continue to generate double-digit gains year after year by leveraging new advances in technology and the loyalty our customers have shown us.
Currently, we are expanding operations, investing in new technology and are positioned to remain one of the leading family-run trucking logistics businesses in Chicago, if not the entire United States.
